About Me
Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m an actor, singer, writer, and many other things. I’m from Columbus, Ohio, where I currently live and work, and I plan to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in Film & Television next summer! I’m theatre-trained, which means I show up on time, learn my lines, and always know where the fire exits are. I received by B.F.A. in Acting from Wright State University and am an alumna of the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Apprentice Program (or Shakespeare Basic Training, as I fondly refer to it).
I’ve been acting professionally since graduating from college (click here for my resume) in various commercial, theatrical, film, and voice-over projects in the Midwest. I recently worked on my first feature as “Shelley” in the indie horror-comedy Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas in the Dark!, now being distributed by Indican Pictures. I also produced and appeared in the horror short “Hell of a Party,” part of Mid-Ohio Film Association’s ‘Three Weeks of Terror’ contest. I have worked with Short North Stage, Available Light Theatre, Actor’s Theatre of Columbus, and Weathervane Playhouse in Newark, Ohio.
In addition to acting, I am also a Certified Personal Trainer (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I love working in fitness because it allows me the flexibility to pursue acting while giving me the tools to truly use my body as my instrument!
